Vladimir Borodin

Born 1941 in Ukraine. Was brought up in an orphanage in the city of Chernigov. In 1959 graduated from the painting Department of the Higher Art school of a name of Iliya Repin. In 1976 he received the diploma of the Higher Art-industrial school Mukhina (Leningrad).

Since 1978 – member of the Union of artists of Russia, since 2003 – member of the Academy in the name of Derzhavin. Honored artist of Russia.

In 2007 he was awarded the medal «For merits in preserving Russian culture».

In 2008, entered in the Golden book «100 great artists of Saint-Petersburg».

Vladimir Borodin known for his work as a painter with a unique recognizable style – «symbolic and romantic realism».

Borodin is recognized as a Museum artist.

Vladimir Borodin are in private collections in Russia, Germany, Holland, France, Italy, Austria, Finland, Sweden, USA, Israel, Cyprus, South Korea, and Beijing National art Museum of China (CNR).

In St. Petersburg Liteyny Prospekt is a private, permanent exhibition of works of the artist, in the studio also presents the work of artists from the so-called "World of light", the existing more than 10 years.
